Visiting MA*GA and Villa e Collezione Panza means venturing on a fascinating journey through the key places of American art.
It starts from Andy Warhol's New York to discover the pop universe with more than 200 icon-works of western contemporaneity, a unique focus on well-known Silent Movies and Andy Warhol's T.V., and the complete series of LP covers. For the first time in Italy, the extraordinary performance created by Warhol and The Velvet Underground and Nico "Exploding Plastic Inevitable" is exhibited in an immersive set up.
The journey moves on to the California of environmental art with some of the most important site-specific works ever created by artists such as Robert Irwin and James Turrell.
You can then discover Meg Webster's sculptures made of natural materials with a strong environmental impulse, up to the countless shades of color of the monochromatic art of Phil Sims, David Simpson and Anne Ruth Fredenthal.
A special promotion is underway until June 18, to accompany you in the discovery of Villa e Collezione Panza and MA*GA.
By presenting the MA*GA ticket at Villa Panza you can visit the temporary exhibition Ex Natura at the special price of €10; vice versa, by presenting the Villa Panza ticket at the MA*GA you can visit the Andy Warhol. Serial Identity exhibition at the special price of €8.
