ARCHIVIFUTURI. Archivi del Contemporaneo Festival returns from June 16th!

After the success of the first edition in 2022, the Archivi del Contemporaneo network including museums, foundations, associations, museum houses and archives offers a program full of live performances, exhibitions, workshops and extraordinary openings, for a month of entertainment between Upper Milan area and the province of Varese.

Until 16 July, the Festival offers a rich calendar of exhibitions, workshops and activities for children and families, visits to artist studios, theatrical performances, concerts involving important local institutions, such as MA*GA Museum ( Gallarate), Bodini Museum (Gemonio), Il Borgo di Lucio Fontana (Comabbio), Franco Fossa Association (Rho), MIDeC Museum (Cerro di Laveno Mombello), Sangregorio Foundation (Sesto Calende), Casa Testori (Novate Milanese), Archive Bonomi (Turbigo), Missoni Archive (Albusciago di Sumirago), Morandini Foundation (Varese), Pagani Museum (Castellanza), Riss(e) (Varese), Tavernari Archive (Varese), Volandia Museum (Somma Lombardo).

With the aim of consolidating the territorial network, this edition of the Festival has extended participation to new entities that promote the values ​​of integration and cooperation between institutions and cultural enrichment, aiming to become permanent partners in the network.

The second edition of ARCHIVIFUTURI offers a rich calendar of shows: the focal point of this year's project, in fact, are live shows and the performative actions as tools that greatly enhance the communication and promotion of online realities. The languages ​​of live arts, music, theater and performative and participatory events, such as workshops and readings, therefore constitute an opportunity to create an interdisciplinary cultural offer of great appeal with respect to the arts and the particular and precious places that characterize our territory.

ARCHIVIFUTURI, organized by the Archivi del Contemporaneo network, of which MA*GA is the lead partner, is supported by the Cariplo Foundation as part of Provincial Emblematici – Switch on project. Live arts and community festival with the support of the Varesotto Community Foundation.
